MINISTRIES

MissionsMinistry

Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” The Mission’s Ministry of First Apostolic Church has taken that commission to heart by supporting over 30 missionaries worldwide and making frequent trips overseas to assist on the “mission field.” FAC has a sincere burden for people who have not heard about the Gospel and is actively increasing their yearly support.

Missions are supported not only overseas, but here in the homeland as well. FAC helps several home missionaries and their families so that they may establish the new “home missions” works for God in the United States.

Every year to promote mission’s giving and increased support, FAC hosts an annual Mission’s Conference. This conference includes guests such as home missionaries, foreign missionaries, international students, A.I.M partners, and other special guests.

Church growth

Orientation training introduces basic concepts and principles

of Christian living to FAC’s new members.  The Church Growth Ministry is designed to stimulate spiritual growth, and it serves as a means for assisting individuals as they find spiritual direction and adapt/adjust to their new life in Christ.

The concepts and ideas embraced by newly-born Christians

will determine their spiritual strength as they grow in the

Christian faith.  Orientation provides an atmosphere

appropriate for learning and growing spiritually.

In addition to well-defined lessons, a forum is provided to answer any questions new members may have.  All new members are invited to join the New Believers Class that simply studies the Bible.

Orientation is for spiritual babes, but its reach extends beyond new converts.  This course is also designed for anyone who moves his/her church membership to FAC.  Completing Orientation is a prerequisite for joining many other ministries of the church.  This program welcomes new members, helps them adjust to the church, and provides them with an atmosphere conducive to growing in a new life in Christ and at FAC.

Music

ministry

Thank you for visiting the Music page of First Apostolic Church. The Music Ministry offers a range of programs including the FAC choir, worship team, special chorale groups, music resources, and many other aspects. Every week many voices combine to create worship and praise unto God for His glory.

To create a worship-enhancing, God-focused atmosphere that is able to touch lives and lead others into His presence is what we strive for during service. As the Word reads, “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!”

Men's

Ministries

Colossians 3:19 - Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who

can find?

Check out the Men’s Ministry at FAC. Get to know us, and you will find the resources and support you need to help you live the life God meant for you to live.  At FAC you will find men actively seeking God’s purpose and power in their lives. You will also find men who are willing to lift you up and support you in your daily walk with the Lord. The men of FAC strive to progress personally, spiritually, and relationally as they learn how to become the men they were created to be --God’s men.

The Men’s Ministry meets periodically for fellowship breakfasts, retreats, and frequent times of prayer. The Lord is calling you today to become, be, and know who you are in Him.

Children's ministries

Matthew 19:14 - But Jesus said, “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

Living for God is fun! The mission of our children’s ministry is to engage and teach children about the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Bible, salvation, and how it applies to their lives using a fun, fresh, and interactive style. At FAC, we offer your children a place of wonder and discovery as they learn Bible truths. We want God to ignite your child’s imagination, intrigue them, and set them on a course of discovery.

Our children’s ministry seeks to bring children into a place where they can belong to the family of God, grow

in their relationship with Christ, learn to serve—and then go share Christ with the world!

Activities include exciting Sunday School on Sunday morning, Crusader Kid’s Club classes and choir on Wednesday nights, Jr. Youth Camp, and many other kid-friendly events throughout the year.

Youth

ministry

Are you looking for an experience for your Jr. High young person that he/she will

actually enjoy?

P.Y.R.O. (Pentecostal Youth Reaching Others) Youth Ministries offers activities and programs for teens, ages 12-18, that encourage spiritual growth, development, and relationship in our youth. P.Y.R.O. meets most Friday evenings for youth night (time and location is announced each week) and every other Tuesday evening at 7 PM for prayer.

The goal of the FAC youth program is to help our teens negotiate the inevitable challenges of their middle school years. We desire to help every Jr. High student reach his/her full spiritual potential.

Whether it is hanging out, talking, learning, or just being themselves, the FAC Youth Ministry is a place where your young person can come and find out who God really wants them to be.
